How to use Your Coupon Code

Got a coupon code from Paddle? Great news! You can now redeem it right away, even before upgrading! Here's how to make the most of it.

How do I redeem my coupon code?

It’s easy! Just follow these steps:

1. Open the Goodnotes app on Android, Windows, or Web.
2. Tap the settings icon and select Manage Account.
3. Tap Redeem Coupon Code.
4. On the Paddle checkout page, choose Add discount and enter your code.
5. Follow the remaining steps (like entering card details) to activate your access.

I don’t see the “Redeem Coupon Code” option under Manage Account. Why not?

There are a couple of reasons this might happen:

• If you're using an Android device and downloaded Goodnotes from the Google Play Store, the option might not be show up. Simply head to web.goodnotes.com, log in, go to Settings > Manage Account, and redeem your code there.
• If you already on a free trial or have an active subscription, you won’t see the option to redeem a code, since your plan is already up and running.

If I’ve already started the free trial and now have a code, what should I do?

You won’t see the option to redeem a code under Manage Account. If you’d like to use a code:

• Cancel your free trial and re-subscribe. This time, enter your code at checkout.

I see a message saying “You need to enter a valid discount code.” What’s going on?

This message can pop up if you try to enter your code in the wrong place. Make sure you're going to Settings > Manage Account > Redeem Coupon Code, not Subscribe and unlock. That should do the trick!
