Synchronizing GoodNotes documents between GoodNotes on your iOS devices on Mac requires iCloud. When your device has an active internet connection, your changes will sync across all devices that are logged into the same Apple ID.
Here is how to set up iCloud sync for GoodNotes:
- You should already be signed into iCloud on your devices, if not, you can check how to do it in this article provided by Apple
- On iOS, open GoodNotes activate "Use iCloud" under Options > Settings > iCloud
- On Mac, open System Preferences > iCloud > Check iCloud Drive, click on Options > Check GoodNotes
If your devices are connected to the same Apple ID, your documents should start syncing automatically.
You can find a collection of troubleshooting articles here if something is not working with iCloud sync. In some cases, app developers can't help with iCloud related issues, which is why we recommend reaching out to iCloud Support as well.
