This article includes everything you need to know about the Eraser tool.
The eraser lets you erase digital ink and highlighting from the page. Drag your finger or the stylus across the ink that you want to erase.
Smart eraser settings
The Eraser tool in GoodNotes supports some smart settings that will allow you to speed things up. The settings can be accessed by double tapping on the Eraser tool icon twice.
Clear the whole page with a single tap.
Erase entire stroke
By default, the eraser will only erase the parts of the ink that are within the eraser area. Setting it to "Erase entire stroke" will erase the whole stroke instead of only parts of it.
Erase highlighter only
If you want to only erase highlighter but not the written words under it, you can use this setting.
If "Auto deselect" is activated, you'll switch back to the last tool that you used before the eraser as soon as you lift your finger/stylus from the device.
