This article shows you how to use the Highlighter tool and change its settings.
The Highlighter tool is very easy to use in GoodNotes. Select it and draw over any words or objects on the page to highlight them.
Changing colors and thickness
The pen, the highlighter, and the shape tools each have an own set of shortcuts for colors and thicknesses in the contextual menu. Tap on the shortcut to change the color or the thickness.
Select more colors and thicknesses by tapping on the shortcut twice.
Highlight in straight lines
If you're often highlighting PDF texts it makes sense to activate the "Draw in straight line" setting in the Highlighter settings. They can be opened by double-tapping on the Highlighter icon in the toolbar. If this is activated, all lines you draw with the highlighter will be straightened automatically.
