Our full Privacy Policy can be accessed here. Whilst we would of course recommend that you read this to be better informed on our policies, we have also summarised some of the information relating to your privacy below:
In short, your privacy matters greatly to us, and we take a number of steps to ensure that your information is kept safe. We are fully compliant with EU General Data Processing Regulations (GDPR), and we try to be as transparent as possible around when data is collected.
Neither we nor any other party can view, read, or modify any of the documents you save locally in the GoodNotes app. Additionally, we do not automatically collect any personal data that will enable us or any third party to personally identify you.
Furthermore, any documents saved through GoodNotes Cloud will be covered under a similar level of confidentiality. We will never view, read, or modify the content of any documents held in the cloud unless directly instructed by you to do so (such as in troubleshooting cases). More information on the specifics of this can be read here.
If you are curious about some of the background processes that we did in order to ensure that we are fully GDPR-compliant, we published a blog post talking about the topic: How GoodNotes guarantees your privacy, security of your data and compliance with GDPR
