It won't receive any more updates or support. We're sorry about this confusion because it's not possible to include any existing Mac app in the universal purchase, which is why we had to upload a separate app.
What happens to my GoodNotes documents in the Legacy Version app?
Your documents will automatically be available in the universal Mac app if you have iCloud enabled in GoodNotes Settings > iCloud Settings. Otherwise, please migrate your data manually:
1. In the Legacy Version app, click the Gear icon in the top-right corner of the Library view > Settings > Backup Data > Backup Now.
2. Choose a location on your computer and click Save.
3. In the universal Mac app, click New... > Import.
4. Browse for the saved backup, click Open, and wait until the migration is complete.
If you'd then like to save space, you can turn off iCloud in GoodNotes Settings > iCloud Settings in the Legacy Version app and choose "Delete on this Mac", or (if not using iCloud) delete its library manually.
You can also remove the Legacy Version app to avoid confusion (but only after making sure you have all the data fully migrated to the universal Mac app).
