1. Respect Others:
Remember to treat others like you would want to be treated by them. The GoodNotes Community is a place for students to help and encourage each other to make studying more efficient and enjoyable by sharing notes and other study material. Everyone should feel welcome to join and participate in a community free of harassment, bullying, and threats of violence.
2. Respect Intellectual Property Rights:
We encourage sharing as many high quality study notes and materials with each other as possible. After all, you never know what someone else might find helpful or inspiring. However, please make sure to respect other people's or party's intellectual property rights and only upload content that you have created yourself.
It is okay to include images that are already publicly available, for example from Google Image Search. You can also add screenshots from lecture slides and textbooks if the main purpose of including them is in order to "criticize" them. However, the main part of your uploaded materials should be created and owned by yourself.
3. Use your Real Name:
We ask our Community members to use their real name when signing up, and that everyone displays their real name when using GoodNotes' Community. The main reason for this is that this allows your classmates or students at your University to be able to find and follow you, in order to share materials and learn from the materials you share.
Of course, you're free to choose a different username!
4. Keep it Legal and Honorable:
Don't upload or encourage the uploading of illegal content. We also kindly ask you to review our Academic Integrity Guide and Honor Code to learn more about how to avoid cheating and breaches of academic integrity. This is important to ensure that the content uploaded to Community is honestly sourced by our users (not plagiarised), trustworthy, and useful.
5. Be Aware of your Public Action:
