With the launch of the Community beta, we have seen a handful of our users who have received an invite to the beta, but they still can't see it in-app. We have found that there are a couple of reasons for this:
- When signing up for the beta, you inputted the wrong Support ID: If you signed up via our webform, it may be possible that you accidentally inputted the wrong Support ID. If you believe this is the case, please reach out to us, and we can see what we can do to help.
- You're on an older version of GoodNotes 5: It's important when using our Community beta that you're on the latest version on your device. To check this, simply navigate to your "Purchased" menu in the App Store, and select GoodNotes 5, and then "Update".
- You're on the Mac Version of GoodNotes 5: At current, the Community beta is not available on Mac - although we absolutely hope to be able to offer this in the future. At current, you may be able to see the Community tab, but unfortunately it is not available for use on Mac (and we are working on removing this confusion).
- Your GoodNotes 5 app has not updated to recognise that you've been added to the Community beta: If you think this could be the case for you, simply take the following URL - goodnotes5://community/invite/SUPPORTID - and substitute the "SUPPORTID" section at the end with your personal Support ID found in-app. From here, simply paste and search this URL on your iPad in Safari, and this should refresh your GoodNotes 5 and reveal the Community tab. This will give your app a nudge to hopefully reveal the Community tab.
