GoodNotes Community is currently in beta, and we are accepting all new users that meet our criteria! Accessing the beta is easy, and can be done in just a few steps. In short, you can access Community in minutes, just by uploading a single academic document on the platform. An academic document could be an annotated lecture note, study guides, practice problems or topic summaries for example.
For a step-by-step on this, see below:
- Open GoodNotes 5, then go to the notebook that you want to share to Community.
- Go to "Share and Export", and you should see a button called "Contribute to Community"
- After pressing this, you will be prompted to select your pages for upload - we would recommend first reviewing our Content Guidelines before making your first upload, just to check that your notes follow the Community rules.
- Finally, just fill in all of the information within the "Contribute" pop-up. It's important to try and be as thorough as you can for this - as this information helps other users on Community to find your work!
Once this is done, and your document has uploaded, you should then have full access to Community within your app!
Please Note: the Community beta is currently only available in certain countries, as well as only being available to students at this time. Whilst we definitely plan to expand this in the future, if you can't see this button in your "Share and Export" menu, it may simply be that the beta is not quite available for you yet. For an up-to-date outline of what countries the beta is available in, feel free to visit our website.
Access and use of Community is subject to our Terms and Conditions.
