Read-Only Mode

If you notice that you are unable to edit your document or tap links in your planner or PDF, then Read-Only mode may be the answer as to why you cannot complete such processes. Read-Only mode allows you to quickly scroll through your content as well as navigate between links with a single tap, and can be enabled by one tap of an icon.

Read-Only mode hides both the Nav Bar and the Tool Bar so that you can see your notes or imported content in full screen without anything in the way.

How to use Read-Only mode:

To enter Read-Only mode, simply tap the icon (Pen with a line through it) in the top right hand corner and both the Nav Bar and Tool Bar will disappear. That will then reveal a slimmed down version of the Nav Bar that can be dismissed entirely by tapping anywhere on the document.

Once in Read-Only mode you are able to scroll through all your Notebooks as well as navigate between internal or external links via a single tap. You are still able to perform a long press and even Highlight, Strikeout, Define, Speak or Copy/Paste eligible content, as well as add Comments and view them.

How to exit Read-Only mode:

If you want to exit Read-Only mode, simply tap on the document to bring up the Nav Bar, then tap on the Edit Mode icon in the top right (indicated by a Pen drawing a loop).
