Taping on documents on your Documents library will open the Document view. The Sidebar in Document view shows the thumbnails of all the pages in the current notebook, allowing you to do varies page-level tasks.
Toggle the Sidebar to Thumbnail view
From the Document view, tap the sidebar icon to the left of the notebook title:
While the sidebar is visible, you can do following actions:
Add a new page
Once you have a document opened, there are multiple ways to add a new page.
- Choose Add new page icon on the upper right.
- Open Sidebar and scroll to the bottom > Add page.
- Insert a page at a precise location in the notebook by tapping the ... icon under the thumbnail of an existing page > Choose Add page before or Add page after.
Add page by using current template
- Tap Add new page icon on the upper right. Choose Add page Before, After, or Last Page.
- Or, tap the ... icon under the thumbnail of the page. Choose Add page before or Add page after.
- Select Current template.
- A new page is created using the template of the existing page.
Add page by choosing from other templates
- Tap Add new page icon on the upper right. Choose Add page Before, After, or Last Page.
- Or, tap the ... icon under the thumbnail of the page. Choose Add page before or Add page after.
- Select More from templates / Choose from templates.
- A selection of template is shown.
- Select a template and Choose Apply.
- A new page is created using the chosen template.
Add page by importing from PDF
- Tap Add new page icon on the upper right. Choose Add page Before, After, or Last Page.
- Or, tap the ... icon under the thumbnail of the page. Choose Add page before or Add page after.
- Select Import.
- The app will prompt you for the selection of PDF file.
- Once a pdf file is chosen, the pages of the PDF will be inserted.
Add page by importing Image
- Tap Add new page icon on the upper right. Choose Add page Before, After, or Last Page.
- Select Image.
- The app will prompt you for the selection of Image file.
- Once a Image file is chosen, the image will be inserted as a new page.
Add page by Take Photo (Android devices only)
- Tap Add new page icon on the upper right. Choose Add page Before, After, or Last Page.
- Select Take photo.
- The app will launch Photo app for you to take photo.
- Once a photo is taken, the photo will be inserted as a new page.
Duplicate a page
- Tap the ... icon under the thumbnail of the page.
- Choose Duplicate Page.
- The page is duplicated.
Change the template of a page
- Tap the ... icon under the thumbnail of the page.
- Choose Change Template
- Select a new template and confirm with Apply.
- The template is changed.
Note: Change of template cannot be undone, and there is a possibility that certain content may not be visible if the new template has different dimensions or orientation. It is recommended to make note of the current template so that you can change back to it if needed.
Rotate a page clockwise
- Tap the ... icon under the bottom-right corner of the thumbnail.
- Choose Rotate page.
- The page is rotated 90 degrees.
Clear a page
- Tap the ... icon under the bottom-right corner of the thumbnail.
- Choose Clear page.
- All annotation are cleared from the page.
Delete a page
- Tap the ... icon under the bottom-right corner of the thumbnail.
- Choose Delete and confirm.
- Page is deleted.
Note: Deletion of page is permanent and cannot be reversed or recovered.
Reorder pages
- Drag a page on the sidebar
- Drop page on the desired location.
- Page is reordered.
Copy and Paste a page
- To copy a page,
- On the Sidebar, tap the ... icon under the bottom-right corner of the thumbnail > Copy Page
- Or, tap the [...] More icon in the top-right corner > Copy Page
- To paste a page,
- On the Sidebar, tap the ... icon under the bottom-right corner of the thumbnail > Add page before / Add page after > Paste Page
- Or, tap on Add Page icon on the upper right > Paste Page.
Note: You can Copy and Paste your page to any document in the library.
Set the Default Scrolling Direction
While working on a page, tap the [...] More icon in the top-right corner > Scrolling Direction.
