This tool helps you turn any of the following hand-drawn objects into perfect geometric ones:
- Lines
- Ovals / Circles
- Rectangles / Squares
- Triangles / Polygons
- Curves
With the tool selected, you can do any of the following:
Draw a shape
Do any of the following:
- Draw the rough shape in one stroke (i.e. without lifting your stylus). The shape will be corrected as soon as you lift your stylus.
- Draw the rough shape in one stroke, but hold your stylus tip at the end of the stroke. As soon as the shape is corrected, if you keep holding the stylus and move its tip, the shape will change accordingly.
Set stroke color
Tap one of the color slots in the Contextual Section on the right. To customize the slot, tap it again and choose a preset, or tap the multi-colored slot at the end to add a custom color.
Set stroke thickness
Tap one of the thickness slots in the contextual section on the right. Tap the slot again to adjust its thickness value.
Change Shape
After drawing a shape with the Shape Tool, the shape can be changed.
- Select the Shape tool
- Tap on the strokes of an existing Shape, blue vertices will appear
- Drag on one of the Blue vertices to change shape
