If you copy some formatted text from a website or an external app and paste the text on a GoodNotes page, you will find that the pasted text will not be in GoodNotes default styling but in the source formatting. Moreover, if you copy a GoodNotes text box and paste in a new or existing text box, the pasted text will be smaller in the Times New Roman font.
We're aware of these pasting behaviors and are working hard on improving them.
As a workaround:
- If you've copied a text box within the app, long-press on the page and choose Paste. Don't paste in an empty text box.
- If you've copied some formatted text from outside the app, please first paste the text in a plain text field, like GoodNotes' Search box, then re-copy the text, long-press on the page and choose Paste. Again, don't paste in an empty text box.
