Manage notebooks

The Library is home to your valuable notes. It's what you see after launching the app. Initially, the library is empty, but as you create your notebooks, you'll see all your creations here.

Switch to Library View from Document View

If you are on Document View, Tap the < icon in the top-left corner of the document view to go to Library View.Screenshot 2023-07-18 at 00.02.37 2.png

 

Sort displayed items

To sort the order of items in your library, choose a sort option from the dropdown list near the top-right corner:

    • Date: The items are sorted by Last Edited date. The most recently edited items listed first.
    • Name: The items are sorted alphabetically.
    • Type: Items are grouped by type, with folders listed first.

Create a notebook

In the Documents tab, choose New > Notebook:

    1. Customize your notebook by choosing a template from the template library:

      • Set the paper size: Select a size from the dropdown list.

      • Set the paper color: Select the dropdown list.

      • Set the paper orientation:
        • Portrait: The page will be vertical
        • Landscape: The page will be horizontal.
      • Set the cover: Select a cover from the scrollable list.

      • Set the paper template: Choose Paper underneath Cover in the left and similarly select a paper template from the scrollable list.

        Note: These properties will be saved as defaults for the next notebook you create.

    2. Name your notebook in the Title field and choose Create Notebook.

    3. The notebook will be opened automatically.

Create a Quick note

Quick note allows you to quickly create a new notebook without choosing its Cover, Paper, or File name.

  1. In the Documents tab, choose New > Quick Note.
  2. An Untitled, coverless new notebook is created.

Import one or more files

The app supports importing PDFs and images.

Open a notebook

To manually open a notebook from the library view, tap its thumbnail.

Open Action menu for a notebook

Tap the down arrow below the notebook thumbnail to see available options.

Rename a notebook

  1. Tap the down arrow under the notebook thumbnail.

  2. Choose Rename, edit the title, and tap the enter key to confirm.

Duplicate a notebook

  1. Tap the down arrow under the notebook thumbnail.

  2. Choose Duplicate

  3. A copy of the notebook will be created. 

Export a notebook as PDF

  1. Tap the down arrow under the notebook thumbnail.

  2. Choose Export as PDF.

Share a notebook using Share Link

  1. Tap the down arrow under the notebook thumbnail.

  2. Choose Share link to collaborate > Enable Share Link.

Move a notebook to Trash

  1. Tap the down arrow under the notebook thumbnail.

  2. Choose Move to Trash and confirm.
