What is Goodnotes Cloud?
Goodnotes Cloud is a cloud storage feature that allows you to back up and sync your notes, documents, and other content created in the Goodnotes app. By enabling Goodnotes Cloud, you can securely store your files online and access them across multiple devices.
How is Goodnotes Cloud Different from iCloud?
Goodnotes Cloud lets you sync your documents seamlessly across various devices, including Windows devices, Android tablets, and web browsers. And now, with the Goodnotes Cloud expanding to iOS platform, you can seamlessly sync your notebooks from Android, Windows, and Web to your Apple devices too! In contrast, iCloud Sync only supports syncing notes across Apple devices. Plus, iCloud Sync uses your iCloud storage, which is shared with other apps on your Apple devices. By using Goodnotes Cloud, you can free up more of this space.
What happens if I delete my Goodnotes account?
Deleting your Goodnotes account will also delete any associated Goodnotes Cloud data. Once deletion is confirmed, this action is irreversible, so please exercise caution before you proceed.
How do I enable Goodnotes Cloud?
If you are enrolled in the Goodnotes Cloud iOS pilot program, you can enable Cloud sync by going to the app menu (gear icon) > Cloud & Backup > Cloud Sync.
Is my personal data safe in Goodnotes Cloud?

Who can access my notes and documents stored in Goodnotes Cloud?
Only you can access the notes and documents stored in your Goodnotes Cloud account, unless you choose to share them with others. You can share files with specific individuals through collaboration features in the Goodnotes app.
How long does Goodnotes keep my data in the cloud?
Your data is retained in Goodnotes Cloud for as long as you maintain your account and continue using the service. If you delete your account or delete specific documents, the data will be removed from Goodnotes Cloud.
Can I transfer my data out of Goodnotes Cloud?
Yes, simply access your notebooks within the Goodnotes app and choose the export option.

What happens if I disable Goodnotes Cloud?
If you disable Goodnotes Cloud, your notes and documents will no longer synced to Goodnotes Cloud. Files already sync in the Cloud will remain until you delete them manually, but new files will not be synced if Goodnotes Cloud is disabled.
