How do I claim the offer?
- Open the pre-installed Goodnotes app. If it was removed, install Goodnotes from the Samsung Galaxy Store.
- Create a Goodnotes account, or sign in to an eligible account that has not started a trial or subscription.
- Follow the in-app prompts to claim the offer.
What does the offer include?
The offer includes one free year of Goodnotes Essential, access across supported platforms, and Samsung-exclusive templates, stickers, and Elements. Some Samsung surfaces may use the Korean plan names Essential (에센셜) or Basic (베이직) for the same included plan.
Will the free year renew or charge me?
No payment information is required and the free year does not renew automatically. The renewal date shown under Manage Account is the date the free period ends, not a future charge. You do not need to cancel it. See Samsung Premium cancellation details.
What happens after the free year?
You can choose a paid plan with the available 20% second-year discount or continue on the free plan. The free plan limits editing to three notebooks. See Samsung Exclusive Offer renewal details.
Where can I find the Samsung templates and stickers?
In the Documents tab, select New > Get Premium Templates, choose an item, and download it to your library. Samsung templates also appear while creating a notebook, adding a page, or changing a page template. Open Elements and select the Sticker icon to find Samsung Elements.
What happens if I reinstall Goodnotes or change devices?
The claimed entitlement is tied to your Goodnotes account. Reinstall Goodnotes from the Galaxy Store and sign in with the same provider and account details. You can then use the benefits on other supported devices.
What happens if I delete my Goodnotes account?
Warning: Deleting the Goodnotes account permanently removes the Samsung entitlement, and it cannot be restored. The offer also cannot be transferred to another Goodnotes account or claimed again on the same device.
Can an existing subscriber or trial customer claim the offer?
The offer is not available to an account with an active paid plan or an account that has started a free trial. An eligible device may claim it with a different account only if the offer has not already been claimed on that device.
How do I check whether I claimed the offer?
- Open the Goodnotes menu.
- Select Manage Account or your profile name.
- Select Subscription.
- Look for “Samsung” under Other Subscriptions.
I cannot find the offer. What should I do?
- Confirm that your device is listed on the Samsung offer page.
- Install or reinstall Goodnotes from the Samsung Galaxy Store.
- Confirm that the account has not started a trial and does not have an active plan.
- Confirm that another account has not already claimed the offer on this device.
- Sign out and sign in again with the intended provider. Apple, Google, and Microsoft sign-in methods create separate Goodnotes accounts even when they use the same email address.
