It's good practice to back up your entire library occasionally, especially before a major event, like resetting a device, or switching devices, to ensure you're prepared in case your valuable documents get lost.
Back up your library
- Tap the ⚙️ icon in the top-right corner of the Library view > Cloud & Backup > Manual Backup > Back Up Now.
- Select a safe location for the backup .zip file.
Please note that the app needs to stay open in the foreground to finish the backup process. If you close the app, the backup process has to be restarted.
Restore your library from a Goodnotes backup
You can restore your backup file back to the library simply by importing that .zip file.
