Keep the same documents across your Apple devices so that you can seamlessly work on a document on any of your devices.
Synchronizing your documents requires iCloud. When your device has an active internet connection, your changes will sync across all devices that are logged into the same iCloud account.
Set up iCloud sync
Please do the following on all your devices:
- Sign into the same iCloud account (which is your Apple Account)
- In Goodnotes, open Goodnotes menu (the top-right corner of the Library view) > Cloud & Backup > Cloud Sync and enable "Use iCloud to Sync Documents".
With iCloud sync enabled, your document updates will quickly sync to your iCloud account, shown by a spinning cloud icon in the top-left corner of each updated document.
Check iCloud sync status
- Go to the Library View.

Tap the Cloud & Backup Status icon near the "New" button. You can also tap Sync Now to force sync:
