Keep the same documents across your devices so that you can seamlessly work on a document on any of your devices.
Synchronizing your documents requires iCloud. When your device has an active internet connection, your changes will sync across all devices that are logged into the same Apple ID.
Set up iCloud sync
Please do the following on all your devices:
- Sign into the same iCloud account (which is your Apple ID).
- Enable iCloud Drive:
- iPadOS/iOS: Open the Settings app on your device, go to Apple ID > iCloud > iCloud Drive, enable "Sync this iPad/iPhone". Then, tap "Apps Syncing to iCloud Drive" and also enable "Goodnotes" in the list.
- macOS: Open System Settings, go to Apple ID > iCloud > iCloud Drive, enable "Sync this Mac". Then click "Apps Syncing to iCloud Drive" and also enable "Goodnotes" in the list.
- Open Goodnotes, tap the ⚙️ icon in the top-right corner of the Library view > Cloud & Backup > Cloud Storage and enable "Use iCloud to Sync Documents".
