Sync Goodnotes documents between iPhones/iPads/Macs

Keep the same documents across your devices so that you can seamlessly work on a document on any of your devices.

Synchronizing your documents requires iCloud. When your device has an active internet connection, your changes will sync across all devices that are logged into the same Apple ID.

Set up iCloud sync

Please do the following on all your devices:

  1. Sign into the same iCloud account (which is your Apple ID).
  2. In Goodnotes, open Goodnotes menu (the top-right corner of the Library view) > Cloud & Backup > Cloud Sync and enable "Use iCloud to Sync Documents".

With iCloud sync on, your document updates will quickly sync to your iCloud account, shown by a spinning cloud icon in the top-left corner of each updated document.
