Purchased Marketplace items are not available to download

You might have purchased a Marketplace item but have never seen it imported to your library. In some cases, you might get a "Purchase failed" error message while trying to buy the item but were charged anyway.

You can try either solution below.

Solution 1: Restore a Marketplace purchase that failed to download

  1. Update your Goodnotes version.
  2. In Goodnotes Marketplace, tap the "..." icon near the top-right corner > Purchase History > Restore Purchases.
  3. Compare the purchase date of an unidentified purchase listed here with your App Store receipt. Once you've found the purchase in question, tap Choose item under it:


     
  4. Browse for the item corresponding to the purchase and tap Choose under it. Alternatively, you can tap an item to view its details and make sure it's the right one, then tap Choose in the top-right corner:
  5. Confirm the choice and follow the on-screen instructions to download the item.

Solution 2: Get a refund and repurchase

  1. Request a refund of the failed purchase from Apple.
  2. Buy the item again.

If the issue persists

Please contact us with the following:

  • The Diagnostic Data: Open Goodnotes ⚙️ menu in the library view > About > Export Diagnostic Data.
  • The Order ID of the purchase: Please check your mailbox.
  • The link to the item: Search for the item in the Marketplace, view it, then tap the Share button next to its name > Copy
