Purchased Marketplace items are not available to download

Some users might have purchased a Marketplace item but have never seen it imported to their library. In some cases, they might get a "Purchase failed" error message while trying to buy the item but were charged anyway.

This is caused by a known bug that's being under investigation, but in the meantime you can manually restore that Marketplace item.

Restore a Marketplace item that failed to download

  1. Update your Goodnotes version.
  2. In Goodnotes Marketplace, tap the "..." icon near the top-right corner > Purchase History > Restore Purchases.
  3. Compare the purchase date of an unidentified purchase listed here with your App Store receipt. Once you've found the purchase in question, tap Choose item under it:



  4. Browse for the item corresponding to the purchase and tap Choose under it. Alternatively, you can tap an item to view its details and make sure it's the right one, then tap Choose in the top-right corner:
  5. Confirm the choice and follow the on-screen instructions to download the item.
