How to contribute my handwriting

You can contribute handwriting samples to help improve Goodnotes handwriting recognition across different handwriting styles, languages, and scripts.

Start contributing handwriting

1. Open the Goodnotes menu from the gear icon in the upper-right corner of the Library View.
2. Choose Settings > Handwriting Recognition > Contribute Handwriting.
3. Select your preferred language from the drop-down list.
4. Write the sample line exactly as shown, including uppercase and lowercase letters.
5. Tap Submit.
6. Continue with another sample, or tap Close to finish.

Writing guidelines

• Write each sample on one line. Landscape mode provides more writing space.
• Use Undo, Redo, or Clear if you make a mistake.
• Tap Skip to move to the next sample without submitting the current one.
• If you know more than one language, you can select another language and contribute additional samples.
• You can contribute as many samples as you like.
