What personal information does Goodnotes collect?

  • Any additional information you voluntarily provide via the Goodnotes services.

We do not collect sensitive data like racial/ethnic origin, political or religious beliefs, genetic data, or health information.

Do you share my data for advertising purposes?

No, we do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties for marketing. However, for data-driven marketing activities, we use third-party services like Google Analytics and may share anonymized data for this purpose.

How does Goodnotes use my personal data?

When I use Goodnotes AI, does Goodnotes collect my data and how long is it retained?

Goodnotes collects data from your use of the AI features only if you opt-in and provide explicit consent. This data can include feedback, conversation logs, and any content you interact with in the AI features. For

Goodnotes will only retain this information for upto 30 days, but this only applies to users who have explicitly opted into conversation sharing. If you have not opted into sharing your conversation history it is not retained.

I am an Enterprise User. Do I need to communicate this policy to our end users?

For the purposes of our privacy policy Enterprise Users include educational institutions, businesses and enterprises.

Is Goodnotes HIPAA Compliant?

Goodnotes is not intended for transmitting Protected Health Information (PHI) under HIPAA. Please refrain from sharing sensitive health or financial data.
