How do I become eligible to redeem the digital planner?
You must drink 17 coffees and collect stamps in the Starbucks Mobile App to be eligible for the digital planner download.
How do I redeem the digital planner and sticker pack?
Eligible users can redeem the planner and sticker pack directly from the Starbucks mobile app.
- Make sure you have the latest Goodnotes version installed on your device:
- iOS: If already on the latest Goodnotes for iOS version but using the GoodNotes 5 experience, upgrade to the Goodnotes 6 experience for free by tapping the '6' icon in the library view at the top.
- Android: Download Goodnotes for Android.
- Windows: Download Goodnotes for Windows.
- Log in to Goodnotes with an Apple/Google/Microsoft account. Note the identity provider and email address used in order to make sure you can view the downloaded planner later.
- Open the Starbucks mobile app and choose View Digital Planner > Download Digital Planner >
- Redeem for the current device: Choose “Open in Goodnotes app on this device”.
- Redeem for another device (iOS/Android/Windows): Choose 'Open on another device” and on that other device, scan the QR code that appears.
Platform Compatibility
Can I redeem the digital planner on both iOS and Android?
Yes, the digital planner can be imported via a link to both Goodnotes on iOS and Android.
Is the sticker pack available on Android/Windows?
No, the sticker pack is only redeemable through the Marketplace on Goodnotes for iOS. It is not available for non-iOS users.
Usage and Restrictions
How many times can I import the digital planner?
The import limit for the digital planner is set to 3 times.
Can I export or print the digital planner?
No, exporting and printing are not allowed for this digital planner due to DRM restrictions.
Can I share or collaborate on the digital planner with others?
No, sharing and collaboration features are disabled for this digital planner.
Can I edit the digital planner and use features like Ask Goodnotes?
Yes, you can edit the planner, use Ask Goodnotes, take screenshots, and use the presentation mode. Copying, pasting, and backup features are also available.
Re-importing and Device Syncing
I imported the PDF on my iPhone. Do I need to import it again on my iPad?
If you're using the same Goodnotes account and Apple ID (serving as your iCloud account) on both devices, the PDF should sync automatically. You don't need to import it again.

I can see the PDF in my library on my iPad, but I can't open it. Why?
This may happen if you're using a different Goodnotes account on your iPad. Log out of the current account and log in with the same account you used on your iPhone (where you first downloaded the planner).
What if I want to use a different Goodnotes account on my iPad?
Unfortunately, you need to use the same Goodnotes account that was used for the initial download.
What happens if I use a different Apple ID on my iPad?
If you use a different Apple ID on your iPad, the PDF will not sync. You will need to re-import the content or use the 'Open on another device' feature on the Import page from the Starbucks app to generate a QR code on your iPhone, then scan it with your iPad.
I don't want to log out of my current Apple ID on my iPad to get the PDF via iCloud sync. How else can I get the PDF?
You have two options:
- On your iPhone, generate a QR code using 'Open on another device' and scan it with your iPad.
- Download the Starbucks app on your iPad, log in with the same Starbucks account, and re-initiate the download.
