When trying to sign in to Google Drive for Auto Backup, you might be experiencing an issue where the sign-in window disappears before you are able to input your Google Drive account details. Logging in to other accounts, such as OneDrive and Dropbox may still be completely functional; however, Google Drive will not allow sign-in at all.
While we're investigating this known issue, please try the following steps and see if you are then able to log in to Google Drive for Auto Backup:
- Restart the device.
- Offload the app, which will clear its temporary storage but keep your documents intact. Please go to device Settings > General > iPad Storage > Goodnotes > Offload App. This might take a while. After that, tap "Reinstall App" to have all your documents placed back.
- Reinstall the Google Drive app, which hopefully resets its integration with the system and other apps.
- Go to device Settings > Safari > and turn off "Block All Cookies" and/or choose Clear History & Website Data.
