Timer Keeper is a new tool to enhance study efficiency using versatile stopwatch and countdown tools. You can even customize and save modes based on your own study preferences!
What is Time Keeper?
Time Keeper can be used to measure your elapsed study time and practice time management for exams! Using Time Keeper to time-lapse study sessions can prevent procrastination and improve concentration, and is a technique recommended by Harvard students.
Using Time Keeper
Open the Time Keeper taskbar by selecting the timer icon in the handwriting bar. When selected, you will have the option to start a New Session using the Timer or Stopwatch tools.
How to use the Timer
- Select the Timer tab in the Timer Keeper widget.
- Type or write the time you want to spend on your activity and press Start. This will display your remaining time in the progress bar.
- Pause or end the session while it's still ticking. When the session ends, you can start a new one.
The color of the progress bar changes when approaching 5 seconds to the end of the session. You can hide the progress bar by pressing the Hide button. When you choose to hide the progress bar, the timer keeps running. To unhide, tap the icon in the toolbar with the small chevron. To open the popover, click on the chevron of the widget.
What makes our timer special is that we provide popular preset modes created by us, and you can also create and save the timer modes you use frequently.
