What is Word Complete?
Word Complete is an experimental feature in Goodnotes that helps users write faster by suggesting and completing words as they write. It uses offline AI to predict and offer word suggestions based on the context of your writing, similar to how autocomplete works for typed text. You can learn more about Word Complete here.
What's happening to the Word Complete feature?
Word Complete will be discontinued on March 31st, 2025. After evaluating user feedback and testing, we're focusing our efforts on other features that have proven more valuable to our users, such as Ask Goodnotes, Audio Transcription, and Lasso Edit.
Why is this feature being discontinued?
We've found that other features have resonated more strongly with our user community. This decision allows us to reprioritize our resources towards developing and improving features that users find most impactful.
Will this affect my existing notes?
No, this change will not affect any of your existing notes or documents. You'll still be able to view and edit all your content normally - only the Word Complete functionality will be removed.
Will there be a replacement feature?
While we don't have a direct replacement for Word Complete, we're continuously developing new features based on user feedback and technological advancements to improve your note-taking experience.
