This may affects users who installed the app via the Samsung Galaxy Store and are using it inside the Samsung Internet browser environment. Recent Samsung Internet privacy changes can block or delay automatic file downloads. When this happens, you may see a “successful export” message, but Samsung Internet silently prevents the exported file from being saved to your device if this protection is active.
How to allow exported files to download
To let your exported files save correctly, adjust your Samsung Internet settings on the affected device:
- Open Samsung Internet.
- Tap the menu icon (three lines), then tap Settings.
- Go to Privacy dashboard.
- Look for Block automatic downloads and turn this option off.
With this toggle disabled, Samsung Internet will no longer automatically block downloads, so exported files should now be saved to your Downloads folder as expected.
If you want to keep blocking enabled
If you prefer to keep “Block automatic downloads” turned on for security:
- After you tap Export as PDF, tap anywhere on the app within about 5 seconds before the download starts.
- This quick interaction helps signal that you intend the download, which can allow the file download to proceed.
You may need to repeat this interaction each time you export a file while blocking remains enabled, as it treats each download request separately.
