Important limitation: large, complex, or damaged PDF files can take longer to render. A page might temporarily appear blank while Goodnotes loads its content.
The diagnostic command is “Export Diagnostic Data”.
Check the PDF
- Allow several seconds for the page to finish loading.
- Check whether the issue affects one PDF or several PDFs.
- Open the original PDF in another PDF viewer and inspect the same pages.
- If you have the source document, create a fresh PDF with the source app’s built-in export option, then import that copy into Goodnotes.
If pages still appear blank
- If you still see blank pages, note the PDF file size and whether the problem occurs consistently.
- Record a short video showing the blank pages or loading delay.
- Open Goodnotes settings, select About > Export Diagnostic Data.
- Contact Goodnotes Support with the PDF, video, diagnostic data, and issue details. Share files only if you are comfortable providing them for investigation.
