If text disappears, gets cut off, or is hidden at the top, bottom, or edge of a text box in Goodnotes, the text box likely did not resize after you increased the font size. Setting Line Spacing to Automatic reflows the text so the box grows to fit it and the hidden text becomes visible again.
Set Line Spacing to Automatic to reveal the hidden text
- Select the affected text box.
- Select the alignment icon beside Font Size.
- Set Line Spacing to Automatic.
- Check whether all the text is now visible.
Prevent the issue from returning
- If the change fixed the text box, select the Text Tool twice.
- Select Save as Default.
If the text is still cut off
If you still cannot see all the text, confirm that Automatic remains selected for Line Spacing. If the issue continues, contact Goodnotes Support and include the text size and line-spacing setting.
