The Eraser Tool makes it easy to erase handwriting strokes. You can wipe goodbye to your mistakes like they were never there!
Change Eraser style
Tap the first icon on the Eraser Active Tool Menu and select a style:
Precision Eraser: The tool erases only the content strictly within the erasing circle.
Standard Eraser: The tool erases a small segment of a continuous stroke.
Stroke Eraser: The tool erases an entire continuous stroke.
Erase using Writing Tool filter
Choose an eraser style that fits your workflow, whether you need to pinpoint small details or clear full lines.
If you want to clean up your notes without deleting everything, you can target specific stroke types. Use the Erase Filter to selectively remove certain tools, like highlighters or pencil marks, while leaving the rest of your page completely untouched:
Tap the Eraser tool to open its options menu.
Select Erase Filter (the settings icon).
Toggle on or off the content types you want to erase:

Auto-Deselect: The tool will automatically be switched to the last used tool as soon as you lift your stylus.
Move around your document
Navigate your document quickly and zoom in for detailed note-taking using simple gestures:
Zoom In/Out: Pinch two fingers together to zoom out, or spread them apart to zoom in. Double-tap the screen to instantly fit the page to your screen width.
Pan Page: Drag one finger across the screen while zoomed in. (Note: Use two fingers if an Apple Pencil is not connected.)
Scroll Pages: Swipe up or down (or left/right in horizontal mode). For long documents, drag the scrollbar—reveal it by scrolling slightly, then long-press until it widens.
Scroll to Top: Tap the status bar at the top of the screen (where the clock and date are displayed).
Jump to Specific Page: Select More menu (…) > Go to Page, enter the page number, and tap Go.
