On Apple devices, Goodnotes supports the languages below for handwriting recognition and Handwriting Search.
This language list only applies to handwriting recognition and search on Apple devices. The settings option is “Default Language for New Documents”.

Supported languages on Apple devices

- Japanese

- Portuguese, Portugal and Brazil

- Turkish
Change the default document language
- Open the Goodnotes menu.
- Select Settings > Document Language > Default Language for New Documents.
- Select your preferred language.
