It's likely that you're already in GoodNotes 5, and thus can't downgrade, as expected. Since both GoodNotes 5 and Goodnotes 6 are in the same app, do any one of these quick checks to make sure you're in Goodnotes 6 before attempting to downgrade:
- In the library view, Goodnotes 6 shows a left side bar when you turn your device to landscape, and the name of the app shown there is "Goodnotes", with a lowercase "n":
- Tap the ⚙️ icon in the top-right corner of the Library view > About. The "App" field will tell you which app experience you're in, GoodNotes 5 or Goodnotes 6. If "Goodnotes 6", you can downgrade to GoodNotes 5 (as long as you bought it before).
- From your device Home screen, Goodnotes 6 has this new icon:
If you believe you're in Goodnotes 6 and entitled to seeing Downgrade but don't, try backing up your library and reinstalling the app.
