On iPhone or iPad

- Tap Sign in with Apple to view apps and websites using it. Select an app or website to see if you used Hide My Email; the address will end with @privaterelay.appleid.com.
On Mac
- Click Apple menu , then System Settings.
- Click your name, then Sign in with Apple.
- Select the app or website to view the Hide My Email address.
For more details, please see this Apple Support article.
Note: To trigger the "Hide-My-Email" option when you "Sign in with Apple" the next time, open device Settings > Apple Account > Sign in with Apple > Goodnotes > Delete.
How do I update my address shown on Goodnotes View Account?
Goodnotes might show an unexpected email address in Goodnotes menu > View Account in these scenarios:
- You logged in to Goodnotes with a "Hide My Email" address, (ie.. xxx@privaterelay.appleid.com), but now want to see your actual email address displayed in Goodnotes.
- You logged in to Goodnotes with your Apple Account, then changed its email address (i.e. same Apple Account but with a different email address). However, Goodnotes still shows the old email address when you log in with "Sign in with Apple" + the new email address.
Important: These steps is applicable exclusively for iOS only users. Do not proceed if you are using Goodnotes on Android/Windows/Web. Deleting your account on iOS device will result in the removal of associated data and subscription purchased on these platforms.
To get the app to show the correct email address of your Apple account, please take these steps:
-
Delete the current Goodnotes account. Make sure to choose "Want to permanently delete your account immediately?" and confirm to hard-delete the account:
- Open device Settings > Apple Account > Sign in with Apple > Goodnotes > Delete.
- Sign in to Goodnotes again with "Sign in with Apple", this time choosing the "Share my Email" option. The Account Info page should show your intended email address.
