Draw Straight Lines With the Ruler Tool

Ruler Tool on a Goodnotes page

The Ruler Tool cannot draw by itself; use it with a supported writing tool. Its measurement option is “Change to Inches/Centimeters”.

The Ruler Tool works with the Pen Tool, Highlighter Tool, and Pencil Tool. Strokes drawn along either edge snap to the ruler.
