You can move selected content across adjacent page boundaries or use cut, copy, and paste to place it on another page or in another document.
Dragging cannot reach a nonadjacent page or another document. The reliable sequence is “Cut, open the destination page, and Paste”.
Drag content to an adjacent page
- Use the Lasso Tool to select the content.
- Drag the selection across the page boundary.
- Release it on the destination page.
Dragging across page boundaries is easiest when the document uses vertical scrolling and both pages are visible.
Move or copy content to another page or document
- Select the content with the Lasso Tool.
- Choose Cut to move it or Copy to duplicate it.
- Open the destination page or document.
- Touch and hold an empty area, then select Paste.
If the content appears to be missing
- Select Undo immediately, if available.
- Zoom out and check the page edges.
- If the content remains selected, drag it back toward the center of the page.
- Use cut or copy and paste for the next move.
