Move individual or multiple documents and folders to another folder in your Goodnotes library. You can use Select Items or drag and drop.
Important: Moving an item changes its location in your library. It does not create a copy or delete the original content.
Move one or more documents or folders
- Start selecting items:
- On iPhone or iPad, select the four-square icon in the top-right corner of Library view, then select Select Items.
- On Android, Windows, or Web, select the checkmark icon in the top-right corner of Library view.
- Select the documents or folders you want to move.
Select Move at the top.
- Select the destination folder. Select a folder containing subfolders to expand it.
- If needed, create a folder inside the selected location using the icon in the top-right corner. You can also search, filter, or sort to find the destination.
- Select “Move to...” to confirm.
Move an item with drag and drop
You can move an individual document or folder by dragging it to its destination.
- Go to the document or folder you want to move.
- Drag the item onto the destination folder.
- Release the item to move it.
Additional options on iPhone or iPad
- While viewing a document, select its title at the top, then select Move to a Different Folder. Choose the destination and confirm the move.
- When selecting multiple items in list view, swipe across a row to select items more quickly.
