Recover deleted documents, folders, and pages from the Trash Bin

When you delete a document, folder, or page in Goodnotes, it moves to the Trash Bin first. Deleted documents and folders and deleted pages stay in the Trash Bin until they are recovered, moved, or deleted permanently. Use this article to recover items from the Trash Bin, or move them to a different location.

Important: Items stay in the Trash Bin until you recover them, move them, or delete them permanently. Permanent delete cannot be undone from the Trash Bin. The Trash Bin is not emptied automatically.

Open the Trash Bin

  1. Open Goodnotes and go to Library view.
  2. Tap the Goodnotes menu in the top-right corner.
  3. Tap Trash Bin.

You'll see deleted documents, folders, and pages that are still available to recover.

  1. In the Trash Bin, tap Select in the upper right.
  2. Tap the documents, folders, or pages you want to recover.
