Goodnotes does not empty the Trash automatically. The steps for permanently deleting its contents differ by platform.
The destructive command is “Delete permanently”. You cannot recover items after they are permanently deleted.
Items permanently deleted from the Trash cannot be recovered.
Empty the Trash on iOS or iPadOS
- Open Library View.
- Select the Goodnotes menu in the upper-right corner.
- Select Trash.
- Select Empty in the upper-right corner.
If the Trash contains many items, deletion can take a moment.
Permanently delete items on Android, Windows, or Web
- Open Trash from the Sidebar.
- Select the checkmark icon in the upper-right corner.
- Select individual files or Select all.
- Select Delete permanently.
