Customizing Color and Icons

  1. When creating a folder, or later from the library, tap the arrow next to the folder name.
  2. Tap Customize Color or Set Icon.
  3. On the Color tab, pick a background color. On the Icon tab, pick an icon or emoji.

To edit an existing folder's appearance later, tap the arrow next to the folder name in your library.

Troubleshooting

If the color or icon still doesn’t update:

  • Confirm you are on iPad, iPhone, or Mac. This option is not available on Windows, Android, or Web.
  • Tap the arrow next to the folder name (not the folder thumbnail) to open the folder menu.
  • Close and reopen Goodnotes, then try Customize Color or Set Icon again.
