Export documents or pages

For iOS version

Goodnotes is very flexible in terms of export options. There are a number of ways you can export documents, such as:

  • Exporting one or more documents
  • Exporting one or more pages of a document
  • Exporting one or more folders

The supported file formats for the export are:

Export a single document

From the library view

Tap the document title and choose Export. Alternatively, tap the checkmark icon near the upper right, tap the document, then tap Export at the top.

From the document view

Tap the Share icon in the nav bar and choose Export All.

Tip: If you've imported this document via the direct cloud storage integration (available to Goodnotes Pro plan), you will see Save changes to <cloud storage> PDF: It will export the document as a PDF and save it on the cloud storage in the folder where it was imported, overwriting any PDF with the same name.

Export multiple library items

  1. Select those items in the Library View: Open the Views menu > Select Items, then tap the items.
  2. Choose Export, change Export details, then choose Export.

Export a single page of a document

Option 1: From the document view, tap the Share button in the nav bar and choose Export This Page.

Option 2: From the document view, tap the four-square icon to go to thumbnail view, tap the arrow under the thumbnail of the page and choose Export. Alternatively, tap Select in the upper right of the thumbnail view, tap the page thumbnail, then tap Export at the top.

Export one or more folders

--- Subfolder B
      --- Notebook B

The exported .zip file will contain files in this structure:

Folder A

You can re-import this .zip file as a whole.
