Important: Email to Goodnotes imports PDF attachments only. Images and other file formats are not imported. New PDFs appear in the root of your Goodnotes library and may take a few minutes to arrive.
Check the PDF and refresh the import
- Confirm that the email includes a PDF attachment.
- Wait a few minutes, especially for a large PDF.
- Close Goodnotes completely and reopen it.
- Open the Goodnotes menu, select Settings > Email to Goodnotes, and wait while Goodnotes checks for documents.
- Check the root of your library again.
If the PDF still does not appear
- Send the PDF again, or test with a smaller PDF.
- Send it from another email app, such as Gmail or Outlook.
- Turn Email to Goodnotes off and on to create a new Goodnotes email address, then send the PDF to the new address.
- Try another network. For example, change from mobile data to Wi-Fi or use another Wi-Fi network.
